Anonymous

Stop motion animation, 0:53

Anonymous is about a murder without the victim or perpetrator. As the perspective shifts, the viewer is both the insider and the outsider. The narration navigates through various points of view, transitioning from the inner thoughts of a suspect to observations of a bystander at the scene, and from an analytical mind of an investigator to the chilling perspective of a criminal in the act. The story unfolds with layers of the motive, timeline, operation and aftermath of the murder. Ultimately, it provokes a series of introspections, both to viewers and to myself: am I complicit in this incident, or is it merely the chaos within me? As I feel the pain in my chest and see the knife in my hand, do I still hear the rhythm of my heartbeat? When I gaze upon the figure struggling in front of me, am I confronting myself or the influences that have sculpted my thoughts and character?
